I regularly wear earplugs to concerts and loud events and Eargasm are definitely worth the investment.
Even if you dislike wearing earplugs, the Eargasm experience may be different enough to convince you to always carry a pair.
They are more comfortable than foam plugs due to their thinness and snug fit. They are a lot more discrete due to their size and clear color.
They advertise to have a filter that allows vocal frequencies to pass through and I can confirm that voices were surprisingly loud and did not sound muffled as they do with foam plugs. This is a nice feature, however it can backfire if you're at a show with a lot of yelling or a really loud announcer - in these cases, you will still have (somewhat less) loud noise in your ear and you may be better off with foam plugs as backup.
